Smolitaire is a free card game made by developer Twenty Minute Mile. It is a collection of classic Solitaire titles created specifically for the portable handheld gaming console Playdate. Players can choose from three options available to them, namely the standard Klondike or the more unique Spiderette and Yukon.

Joining the likes of OneBit Invaders (Playdate) and Pictode Collection, Smolitaire is one of the many games being developed to take advantage of the Playdate's unique hardware and open development platform. It even features custom graphics and fonts that were specifically made just for the handheld.

There is just something about Solitaire that still appeals to people even after all this time. This classic card game helped bored office workers deal with their mundane everyday nine-to-fives—something that hasn't really changed much even today. For controls, you'll mostly be using the A button for gameplay like moving cards around, while the B button will be for navigating through options and canceling your previous action.

Lastly, the crank mechanism is there if you want to clear out the board and send cards to one of their four top pillar stacks. Now, development for the game is still active and ongoing. As such, expect a few bugs and glitches to pop up every now and then during your playthrough, but they will most likely be addressed when more updates come in.
